Support for your child is underpinned by law.
The SEND system can feel confusing, with unclear timelines and shifting decisions. But behind every decision is a legal framework that sets out what should happen and when.
When you understand that framework, you are in a far stronger position to:
-
ask the right questions
-
challenge decisions
-
and advocate effectively for your child
At SEND Law Unravelled, we break that complexity down into clear, practical guidance you can actually use.

The SEND Law Unravelled Approach
Clarity, Not Confusion
We focus on helping you understand your rights and the system - not adding to overwhelm.
Law-Led
Every piece of guidance is grounded in SEND law and statutory duties.
Child-Centred
The focus is always on achieving the best possible outcome for your child.
SERVICES

The aim is for you to leave understanding what should be happening and what to do if it isn’t.

ABOUT CLARE
From Experience to Expertise
I founded SEND Law Unravelled because I have navigated the SEND system for my own child.
I understand how confusing, frustrating and overwhelming it can feel; especially when the law isn’t clearly explained.
I combine:
-
a Law Degree
-
IPSEA SEND Law training (Levels 1–3)
-
real-world experience of navigating the system
to provide clear, practical guidance that parents can actually use.
I understand both the legal framework and the reality parents face day to day.
